Pastoral Counseling & Training
I was commissioned to the ministry of Christian Counseling by Sunnyvale First Baptist Church in 2005. Then I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University in 2010. I am licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association as Clinical Pastoral Counselor. I am a Professional Clinical Member in good standing with the NCCA.
In 2021, I added another facet to my ministry by becoming certified as a Clinical Supervisor for Pastoral Counselors. As a supervisor, I meet with those who are completing their requirements to become a Pastoral Counselor.
I am a wife and mother of three. I have 20+ years of experience in the support group setting. I have facilitated groups on addiction recovery, divorce recovery, marriage and parenting adult children, as well as providing support for groups on anger management, grief recovery, abortion recovery and adjustment for adoptive families.

Coaching is an avenue to explore life purpose through self-discovery, vision casting, goal setting, planning and action. As your Life Coach, I will walk with you through the process, offer encouragement, offer feedback and pray for you each step of the journey.

My Philosophy
My basic philosophy is that all people have purpose and value. Each person is a unique creation of God with individual likes, looks, personality and temperament. In the course of life, it is easy to lose sight of our personal worth, purpose and goals. I believe counseling can help individuals, couples and families to regain positive, healthy perspective.
Along the way, I will provide encouragement and feedback as you take actions to move toward the goals. During each part of the process, I will pray for and with you to seek God’s plan, purpose and mission for your life. Finally, I will help you to evaluate the progress being made to determine if the goals are appropriate and being reached or if you need to adjust the goals to be more realistic or more in line with your purpose.
